Mom, Ocho (the car), and I survived a cross-country roadtrip from Utah to Louisiana. It took 2 and a half days. The weather was great, we stayed in front of all the storms. However, on the 2nd day I woke up with Pink Eye! I couldn't show up on my first day of work with pink eye, so we had to find a Minute Clinic (Thank you Daddy!)
Once we got to Louisiana and found the apartment complex, I found out that there will be a downstairs, 2 bedroom apt. without a washer and dryer hookup available next week. It will be cheaper and easier for me, so where I am now is temporary. I don't have a lot of time, but I just wanted to post some pictures, so you can see where I'm living and working. First, I love my apartment! It's way nice and close to everything: I have a 24 hour Super Wal-Mart practically in my backyard and I'm only 5 minuntes away from church and 10 minutes away from work!
Here's a walking tour of my apartment-Enjoy!

Hi Lonnie! I know you can't believe it, but I figured out how to say hi on the computer. I love your apartment - it looks really nice! I'm glad you like your new job, and can't wait to hear more about it. The library is putting a little train in the parade tomorrow in Hyrum; Teri will be in charge - should we worry?? Take care; write when you can. Jill
Hello Angie, and I'm assuming Jill (your username says Caitlin, hello to Caitlin, too)! I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! You'll have to tell me how the parade went and send me pictures (or post them somewhere, such as the Library website!)
